KAB Electric in partnership Research Solar installed a commercial solar system for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 95 in Joplin, Missouri in December 2018.
This was a ballasted system, so no roof penetration. Structural engineering was performed to assure system weight was not a problem and that the structure adhered to local jurisdictional codes. The Solar System was a 3- phase 208 volt, 18.6 kW DC system utilizing micro-inverters.
